Accel Learning offers Science Classes for students in Grades K to 12 including AP and Honors level classes.
Classes are offered Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
No Registration fees and no Contract. Pay as you go. Only $180/month (4 weeks). All inclusive fees for one hour of class each week.

JOHAN


Johan - Math, Science, Computer Programming Instructor
Hi, my name is Johan and I have been working as a tutor for more than 10 years now. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and Physics and a minor in Aerospace engineering from Penn State University, and I also have a Master degree in Computational Science from New York University. I am originally from Ecuador so I can teach in both English and Spanish.
I really enjoy teaching high school Math and Physics, especially AP courses such as AP Calculus 1 and 2, and AP Physics 1 and 2. Because of my exposure to engineering, I can also teach high school Chemistry and Physics. For Math, I teach Calculus, Statistics, Engineering Mathematics, Math Competitions like AMC, Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiads and more.
I also teach computer programming for web and game development and Virtual reality gaming. I like working in Python, JavaScript, and Java.
My hobbies are teaching, soccer, programming, and watching movies.
HAMZA


Hamza - Math, Science and English Instructor
Hello, my name is Hamza, and I am super excited to be working with the Accel team! I have a background in Engineering and Early Childhood Education. I love making music, acting, and going to museums. I can help with a wide range of Elementary, Middle, and High school courses like Math, English and Science. I also tutor students preparing for various tests like HSPT, COOP, ISEE, SAT, and ACT.
I believe that anyone can learn and that there are endless ways of conveying certain principles and concepts. I strive to help students by figuring out their preferred methods. For example, with some students, I like to draw diagrams and produce real life examples to relate the concepts to. My goal is to enhance and strengthen the toolbox with which our students tackle all problems.
When I teach, my main goal is always to focus on individual needs. Each student has their own preferences, and it is an immense joy to learn and develop instruction that works for each one. That individual care is what makes, to me, the greatest difference in a student’s life.

Prashanti - Math, Science and English Instructor
I am Prashanti, a versatile educator having more than 15 years of teaching experience in the field of education. I have taught and worked closely with students across all age groups and diverse cultural backgrounds. My passion for teaching stems from the personal satisfaction I obtain by helping students learn something new and the numerous benefits it has on my own understanding. As a teacher I believe in the importance of using the right techniques and differentiating lessons based on student needs and learning styles. Teaching is made effective by breaking down concepts and making it easier for a student to comprehend. Additionally, I also love to challenge students from time to time. My goal as a teacher is to instill confidence in students and develop a love for the subject. I ensure my classes are engaging, interactive and at the same time have an element of fun.
An MBA in Finance who loves teaching and tutoring students in the area of Math and English. Besides regular school teaching, I specialize in teaching students for various competitive exams like Math Kangaroo, SCAT and Math Olympiad.
I constantly motivate and encourage students to improve their academic performance using effective goal-setting strategies. As an enthusiastic teacher, I am dedicated to enabling young minds to grow and achieve. My vast experience and unique teaching style help identify individual developmental needs and the implementation of customized coaching and mentoring enable students to master new skills.

Shanice - Math and English Instructor
Hi, I’m Shanice. I hold a Bachelors in Actuarial Science from the University of The West Indies Mona and I am also pursuing an MBA in Finance followed by a PHD in Quantitative Finance. I have been teaching Math and English for over 4 years where I taught all levels from kindergarten to undergraduate. I’m a Math enthusiast who aims to make learning appealing and fun to all students. I have also prepared students for various Math Competitions where my teams have placed in the top 5 every year. I teach students for various Math Competitions and exams such as AMC, Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiads and more.
I also teach SAT, ACT, HSPT, BCA etc.
My approach is to access my students and their learning needs then create the perfect teaching approach tailored to each student’s needs to attain the best result and enhance their capabilities. I love challenges and enjoy helping my students to understand and break down difficult problems. With a great mindset I believe all students can reach their goals and understand difficult concepts.
I always had a passion for learning and teaching. While teaching students, I try to emphasize proper techniques and help them break down problems into simple and easy understandable concepts. I also conduct comprehensive test review sessions which contribute to an increase in their overall grades.
I believe that it is important to cultivate a fun and interesting learning environment which encourages students for questions and discussions.

Tanya - Math, Science and English Instructor
Hi! I am Tanya and I am currently doing my BSc in Food Science and technology. I have been teaching since 2018 and have experience in tutoring students for Math, English and Science. I have also taught students for competitive contests like Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiad, ACT, SAT and AMC.
I believe in the concept that knowledge and education are the basics of all things in life and hence it provides a pedestal for further accomplishments in life. I am passionate about teaching because it gives me a platform to provide the power of education and simplify complex things to make it more accessible for the students. My end goal is for the student to polish the specific subject that we are focusing on with the help of a goal oriented plan and great results!
Dr. BECKER


ANDREW - Math, Science and English Instructor


Dr. Becker has a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Special Education. He has worked in the field of Education for the past twenty years, beginning with working with the Autism program in the Hillsborough NJ School in 2001. Since then, he has taught Math, English and Science to Elementary, Middle and High School students. He also led the Montgomery Math Counts Team to 2nd Place in the State of NJ. He currently teaches at College level and also offers 1-on-1 tutoring. During his education career, he has focused on teaching various levels of Math from Basic Math to Calculus to students in grades K through 12. He has taught Math in various ways from one-one tutoring to classroom environments. He has also prepared students for various standardized tests including the SAT, ACT and GRE. Dr. Becker is a lifelong advocate of education.

Pranay - Math Instructor
My name is Pranay. I graduated in Mathematics from William Paterson University. I tutor for Accel Learning in mathematics, helping prep students for general coursework in school and for math competitions like Math Kangaroo and Math Olympiad. I’ve also worked for IT firms as a Technical Consultant and a Data Analyst.
I have a great passion for teaching Math and am on my way to pursue a Master’s degree with the eventual goal of teaching High School or College level. I enjoy challenging students so they can understand how deep their knowledge is and what they can improve. As each student has a different skillset, I work as best I can to fill in the gaps they need to master mathematics.

Stacey - Chemistry Instructor
Hi, my name is Stacey Lindo. I am from Jamaica. I obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemistry with Education from the University of the West Indies. I have been teaching Chemistry to the AP level for the past 21 years I also work with the Caribbean Examinations Council as an Assistant Examiner and a Moderator, where I mark exam scripts, and visit schools to assess students’ internal work and provide coaching to teachers of Chemistry
I am an enthusiastic, conscientious, and effective teacher. I love the way teaching allows me to share a part of my mind and heart with my students. I enjoy the challenge of breaking down complex concepts and seeing the eyes of my students gleam with understanding. I aim to have my students be comfortable with me, confident in their abilities and motivated to keep on learning. And I love Chemistry!

Bethany - Math , English and Science Instructor
Hi, I’m Bethany and I am a double major in English and Biology. I am currently pursuing my teaching certification in Biology, and I work as a teacher’s assistant for the principles of biology course at Montclair State. I also work in a molecular biology research lab, and I am currently studying Cnidarian DNA.
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine, and I am driven by the idea that any subject is easy to learn as long as the teacher makes it fun. As a result, I do my best to make anything I teach – whether it is Math, English, or Science – enjoyable and stimulating. I have learned many different teaching approaches, so I am constantly adjusting how I teach for each student. My goal at the end of a tutoring session is to make sure the student feels confident in their ability to succeed in the subject they need help with.

Mehdi - Math Instructor
Hi, my name is Mehdi Nategh. I started teaching Math in 2002 after I finished my Bachelor’s in Pure Mathematics in Iran. I started a Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2021 at the University of Missouri-Columbia (MIZZOU). My research interests are Differential Topology, Dynamical Systems, and Number Theory.
I’ve been a Math Instructor at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Central Methodist Univerity, Accel Learning, Columbia College, Areteem Institute, Varsity Tutors, and the Great Circle. I enjoy teaching Math Competitions like Math Olympiads and AMC. I also enjoy teaching advanced Math topics such as Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I love Sci-Fi movies and guitar.”

Ozair - Math English and Science Instructor
Hi, I’m Ozair and I have a major in Physics and minor in Math. I started tutoring students in 2021 while successfully developing essential skills to prepare students for topics they may struggle with. I teach students further and develop their passion for subjects such as Math, English, and Science.
Over the years, I’ve realized the importance of education and seeking knowledge and hence want to develop my future for continuing to educate students. My teaching style is to consistently ask the students questions that lead them to further understand the subject they are learning. I also like to have casual conversation outside the realm of education with many students to further their enthusiasm for the environment and the overall topic they are learning. My end goal with tutoring is to further the student’s passion for a subject while also developing a strong mindset/intellect for that student to succeed in the future.

Allesandro - Math Instructor
I enjoy mentoring students in my free time. I find it a very fulfilling and rewarding experience. I’ve mentored several students over the last six years of teaching math. My students range from high school students to undergraduate university students, in mathematics and math related subjects. I particularly enjoy tutoring in algebra and calculus, at various levels and training students for various Math competitions.
