High School Placement Test (HSPT Exam) is a high school entrance exam taken by students in grade 8 seeking admission to parochial high schools. The HSPT is a four-section, multiple-choice standardized exam. The test is published by Scholastic Testing Service.
It is a five-part, 298 question test. Students are given 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam. It is broken into 5 sections: Verbal; Quantitative; Reading; Mathematics; and Language Skills.
